Muhammad Nawaz is a qualified Chartered Management Accountant (ICMAP) and has done masters in commerce, with over 25 years of experience in Internal Audit and Quality Control Review departments.

He is currently serving as Partner, ABM Sanaullah & Co., responsible for Internal Audit & Quality Control Review. Leads internal audit engagements, evaluates risks and controls, ensures compliance, and performs independent quality control reviews to enhance audit quality and provide strategic insights.

He was General Manager in Pakistan’s largest listed Oil & Gas company, leading multi disciplinary teams, driving large-scale strategic initiatives, operational efficiency, and corporate governance, while overseeing financial performance, risk mitigation, and cross-functional transformation projects.

He has extensive expertise in internal controls, risk management, and compliance
frameworks, providing advisory insights to senior management and boards to enhance organizational resilience and decision-making.

He was key member of the Quality Control Review (QCR) team, ensuring audit and advisory engagements meet the highest professional standards while driving
efficiency, accountability, and sustainable business performance.
